What Is RHA?

RHA is an acronym for Resilient Hyaluronic Acid which is the first – and currently, the only – FDA-approved filler for treating dynamic wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is a gel-like natural component of human skin and has an exceptional water-binding ability that helps moisturize.

What Makes RHA Unique?

Wrinkles can be static or dynamic. Static wrinkles are typically due to skin damage from the sun, genetics, smoking, poor nutrition, or pollution. Dynamic wrinkles are a result of repetitive muscle movement or contraction that occurs when you smile, frown, or laugh. The most common facial areas for dynamic wrinkles are on the forehead, cheeks, and corners of the eyes (crow’s feet). As an advanced form of hyaluronic acid, RHA contains enhanced “resilience” brought about by a gentle and specialized manufacturing process. This ensures the fillers retain the natural structure of HA, which helps restore structure and volume while hydrating the skin. The unique formula of RHA makes it more stretchable, enabling it to adapt easily to dynamic facial areas. The result is firmer, voluminous, and taut skin that takes years away from your actual age.

Personalized Anti-aging
Solutions with RHA

At our plastic surgery practice and medical spa, Dr. Stanley Harper and his team of expert injectors specialize in using the RHA family of fillers to provide bespoke treatments for different types of wrinkles.

RHA2

When injected into the mid-to-deep level of the inner dermis layer, RHA2 addresses mild to moderate lines and wrinkles.

RHA3

For moderate to severe lines and wrinkles such as laugh lines, or nasolabial folds, RHA3 fillers are best suited.

RHA4

These fillers are injected deep into the dermis level for targeting severe nasolabial folds, forehead lines, facial wrinkles, and other dynamic wrinkles.

How Does This Treatment Work?

During the treatment session, your skin is prepared with a topical numbing cream that enhances comfort. A series of RHA injections are then administered, after which you will be provided with detailed post-treatment instructions.

You can resume your normal activities after the session, although you will need to avoid sun exposure, alcohol, and retinol products until you recover completely.

A Long-lasting, Anti-aging Effect

Dr. Stanley Harper and his team of expert injectors have extensive expertise in dermal fillers, ensuring the treatment is safe, customized, and highly effective. While you can see the results after just one treatment, the full results appear gradually over the next few weeks.

The rejuvenating results can last for up to 15 months. Schedule a consultation with Dr. Harper’s team to find out more about RHA and to get personalized treatments.
