Brighten Your Complexion
With Targeted Light Energy

IPL Photofacial, or Intense Pulsed Light Photofacial, is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure designed to rejuvenate your skin and restore its youthful glow. Using advanced light technology, the treatment gently delivers controlled pulses of light to the deeper layers of your skin. This targeted energy stimulates collagen production, reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, sunspots, age spots, and redness. Whether you want to improve pigmentation irregularities or enhance overall skin texture, IPL Photofacial is the solution.

IPL Photofacial Corrects:

  • Sunspots and age spots
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Vascular lesions
  • Redness and rosacea
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Freckles and pigmentation irregularities
  • Cherry angiomas
  • Spider veins and broken capillaries

How IPL Photofacial Works

IPL Photofacial operates on the principle of selective photothermolysis, using intense pulsed light to rejuvenate your skin. The IPL device emits a broad spectrum of light wavelengths that are absorbed by the targeted areas of your skin. The light energy is then converted into heat, selectively targeting melanin (pigment) and hemoglobin (blood vessels) within the skin.

The controlled heating prompts the body’s healing response, spurring collagen production and promoting the fading of pigmentation irregularities. Additionally, the gentle heat effectively constricts blood vessels, reducing redness and vascular lesions. As the treated areas heal, you’ll notice a brighter, smoother complexion with improved texture and reduced signs of aging.

We Use Two Cutting-Edge IPL Devices…

Lumecca

Lumecca is a cutting-edge IPL device used for transformative skin treatments. Engineered to deliver powerful and precise light energy, Lumecca effectively targets a wide array of skin concerns, from pigmentation issues to vascular lesions, helping you achieve a radiant, revitalized complexion. The light energy is absorbed by the damaged blood vessels, which causes them to shut down and gradually get absorbed by the body, reducing redness.

Motus AZ+

Motus AZ+ is a powerful IPL device used for IPL Photofacial. With its dual-wavelength technology, Motus AZ+ combines Alexandrite and Nd:YAG lasers for exceptional versatility and safety. This combination of wavelengths empowers the precise targeting of various skin tones while its integrated cooling system safeguards the skin, making it an ideal choice for effective, secure, and comprehensive aesthetic treatments.

Benefits Of IPL Photofacial:

  • Non-invasive treatment
  • Improves skin texture
  • Enhances collagen production
  • Suitable for face, neck, chest, and hands
  • No downtime and minimal side effects
  • Suitable for all skin types

How IPL Photofacial Is Performed

Your IPL Photofacial session begins with a consultation with our skilled team to curate a personalized treatment plan. As your session starts, you’ll be comfortably seated while our practitioners glide the Lumecca or Motus AZ+ device over the target areas. The device emits controlled pulses of light, and you may experience a mild sensation similar to the snap of a rubber band against your skin. A session typically takes about 20 to 30 minutes, following which you can return home and resume daily activities.

Your Recovery Journey After IPL Photofacial

After IPL Photofacial, it’s natural to experience minor side effects, such as mild redness and a sensation similar to a mild sunburn, which usually subsides within a day or two. You can return to your regular activities immediately after the treatment, but you should avoid direct sunlight and strenuous workouts for a few days. You might notice a gradual darkening of pigmented areas, a sign that the treatment is working, following which the pigmented spots will flake off.

IPL Photofacial FAQs

When do the IPL Photofacial results become visible?

Many notice an improvement in skin texture and tone shortly after the first session. However, the results gradually improve over several days and weeks as the pigmented spots flake off and your body stimulates collagen production.

How long do the IPL Photofacial results last?

IPL Photofacial results are long-lasting, but maintenance sessions might be recommended over time to sustain the benefits and combat the natural aging process and environmental factors.

How many sessions will I need for optimal results?

The number of sessions varies based on your unique skin concerns and goals. However, most SHarper Babes achieve optimal results after 3 to 6 sessions spaced a few weeks apart.

Is IPL Photofacial safe for darker skin?

With the advanced dual-wavelength technology of Motus AZ+, IPL Photofacial is safe for various skin tones. Our specialists customize treatments to ensure optimal safety for all.
